Gurpreet Singh, proprietor of RoleAbroad, is responsible for the personal information handled through this service. You can reach us through the contact and grievances page.
Information we receive
When you contact us or register, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, current role, experience, CV, qualifications, target countries, preferred timeline and details you choose to share about your job search. We may also keep consultation notes, service messages, the package you select, invoices and payment status or transaction references. Our hosting provider may receive technical data such as IP address, device and browser information, and security logs when you use the site.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to you, assess the suitability of our support, plan and perform the agreed job search service, prepare or review application materials, communicate progress, administer payments and refunds, prevent misuse, maintain records and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing and overseas applications
Our team and service providers may access information needed to operate the website, communicate with you and deliver the service. If you choose an application support plan, your approved profile and application details may be shared with employers, recruiters or application platforms in the countries you select. Their own privacy terms may then apply. We discuss the intended search scope with you before package work begins. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights.
Payments
When online checkout becomes available, a payment provider will process payment details under its own terms and privacy notice. RoleAbroad expects to receive payment status, amount and transaction identifiers needed for confirmation, accounting and refunds; we do not ask you to send complete card numbers or payment passwords to us.
Cookies and security
The website may use essential session and security technologies needed to operate. We do not use your job search profile for advertising. We use reasonable access controls and service providers to protect information, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Please do not send passwords, government identity numbers or sensitive financial details in an ordinary enquiry.
Retention and your choices
We keep information only while needed for the purposes above, to handle a service or dispute, or to meet applicable record-keeping duties. You may ask us to correct inaccurate information, provide a copy of information you supplied, stop optional communications, or delete information that is no longer needed. We may need to retain limited records where law or a live dispute requires it. You can withdraw from future application submissions by contacting us; this cannot undo applications already sent to third parties.
Children and policy changes
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 or over. If we learn that a child has submitted personal information, we will take steps to remove it. We may update this policy when our service or legal requirements change and will show the new date on this page. For privacy requests or complaints, use our contact details.
